Applying for a loan

a. A job or other regular source of income

b. A checking or savings account in good standing at a qualifying bank

c. A valid email address

d. A valid phone number

e. To be at least 18 years old

Even if you have bad credit or no credit, you may qualify for a loan.

Funeral Help makes what’s called a “soft inquiry” on your credit report, as opposed to what’s called a “hard pull”. Soft inquiries may or may not be recorded on your credit report, depending on the credit bureau, but soft inquiries do not result in a decrease in your credit score because of the inquiry. In other words, checking your rate or just applying for a Funeral Help Loan won’t affect your credit score.

If we are unable to give you a loan based on reports we receive from consumer reporting agencies, we will send you an email letting you know the primary reasons that affected the decision and the contact information for the credit reporting agency. If you think there was a mistake, please contact the credit reporting agency.

Funeral Help does report back to credit reporting agencies on your loan payment performance, so not paying your loan back according to the agreed-upon payment plan could negatively impact your credit score

In addition to completing the application form, we may request documents such as pay stubs, W2s, a voided check and bank account statements.

We use an automated system to verify your income and employment. We may also need to request documentation such as W-2s, voided checks, bank account statements, or pay stubs.
